    DAYTON - With unseasonably cool weather in store, the Dayton and Waitsburg Teams teed off last weekend in the fourth annual Touchet Valley Ryder Cup Tournament. Dayton came away with its fourth straight title, after a very close tournament.     WAITSBURG - Most 18-year-olds don't celebrate high school graduation by running a marathon -- but then most 18-year-olds aren't E.J. Meserve. On Sunday,June 22, Meserve ran as the youngest runner in the San Juan Island marathon, placing 15th out of 60 competitors.     PRESCOTT - WP athletes and families gathered in the Prescott High School multipurpose room for the annual Spring Sports Award Dessert. Varsity softball coach Angie Potts introduced her team while commenting on each player. Potts said sophomore Jaidyn Brown pitched a total of 131 innings this year with 68 strike-outs and 54 walks.     CHENEY - WP's Kobie Brown cleared six feet even in the high jump competition at the state 2B Championship Meet here Saturday, which was good enough to tie for fourth place. He also took fifth in the finals of the 110 meter hurdles. Brown's teammate Owen Lanning was seventh in the 110 hurdles.
