DAYTON - "We are preparing for Dayton Days. We have an outdoor, old fashioned, fun activity for kids of all ages," said Boldman House Museum Director Sylvia Beuhler. WAITSBURG – The Waitsburg Alumni Association will host its 113th annual reunion and banquet on May 27 at the Waitsburg Elementary School multipurpose room. PULLMAN – Twenty Waitsburg High School FFA members qualified for and attended the FFA State Convention in Pullman last weekend, many returning with awards. Susan Stege is a certified school counselor with experience in individual and group counseling, and in working with parents. WALLA WALLA – Approximately 320 people attended Columbia REA's 79th annual meeting at College Place High School in April 20. Members welcome passers-by to keep the planters looking lovely by deadheading plants as they walk by and request that everyone clean up after their dogs if they make use of the Main Street tree bases. The community service organization will award their final scholarship this June, but intends to maintain its tradition of encouraging students.
