DW duffers enjoy MF course

MILTON-FREEWATER-On April 16, the DW golf team traveled to Milton-Freewater where they played 18 holes on the city course.

"This was a fun match for our kids; it's the first time they were able to play the back 9 at Milton-Freewater. All of our boys hit at least one out-of-bounds on number 17, so scores were a bit inflated. This is a difficult hole in that the tee is 112 feet above the green, which is surrounded by trouble on all sides. One of the highlights of the day was first-year golfer Tom Elder sinking a 10-foot putt on number 8 for his first par ever," said Coach Mike McGhan.
