“It was a good day for practicing and being ready for your events, even when it’s cold, and your coaches are busy running an event. Several people observed their competitors more carefully than usual and realized some things they should do differently,” said Waitsburg Coach Dan Nechodom.

Later in the week, Waitsburg track athletes competed against twenty-seven teams at the 2025 Van Kuren Invitational at Cheney High School on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
