Ten Years Ago November 11, 2010 My husband’s grandfather, Dr. Rufus Butler, was a “horse and buggy doctor” in Waitsburg for 39 years. According to an article in the Times’ in 1950, he was one of the last settlers to recall log cabins, hardships, and pioneer love of the Northwest.
