PRESCOTT-The Touchet Valley Aquacize group held its season-end luncheon at the Tuxedo Bar & Grill in Prescott on Thursday, August 31. Group coordinator Carol Anderson reported that this was the seventh summer of the group's water exercise and lap-swim activities at Prescott Pool. PRESCOTT - Since its first car show about ten years ago, the Cruzin' Prescott Car Show has grown from nine to over sixty cars. The event, held on August 19 was a community affair, with over twenty volunteers. Over the years, the car show outgrew the local park and moved to the elementary school across the street. PRESCOTT—In November 2018, voters of the Prescott Joint Park and Recreation District (PJPRD) voted 62.63% YES on the $115,000 Maintenance & Operation levy request. Because of the levy passage, the Prescott Pool completed a 69-day season with an average daily attendance of 60 swimmers.
