The Valley Girls Barrel Racing Association com- petes and promotes barrel racing in the Walla Walla area. Recently the group put on the 35th annual "Bar- rel Daze," held April 12-14 at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds. Nearly 1,300 contestants from all over the U.S. and Canada took part in "Barrel Daze." Contestants com- peted for $216,020 in cash and awards. WAITSBURG - The City of Waitsburg would like to remind the Citizens that dog licenses are required for all dogs aged 4 months and up.
