    DAYTON - The Touchet Valley Golf Course is offering free golf lessons for boys and girls ages 7 -17 from Dayton, Waitsburg and the surrounding areas. Lessons will run the week of June 23 - 27.     WAITSBURG - The Wai tsburg Ci ty Council meeting date has been changed from June 18 to Wednesday, June 11 at 7 p.m. at the Lions Club Memorial Building at the Waitsburg Fairgrounds.     WAITSBURG - Waitsburg's summer reading program will kick off with free ice cream sundaes during registration on June 12 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Children of all ages are welcome.     DAYTON - The Dayton Elementary School will in­troduce new multi-age class­es next year, putting 2nd and 3rd graders into combined classes and 4th and 5th graders also into combined classes.     WAITSBURG - Waits­burg Elementary School students will soon spend their recesses "Walking for Water". This will be the second year that elementary students have participated in the program that raises funds to provide safe drinking wa­ter for the needy. Last year , students walked three days a week and raised $555, which funded a rainwater catch­ment and storage system for a school of 398 students in Kenya.
