Support for Schram

To the Editor,

As a Waitsburg resident who has known Richard Schram for over 20 years, I proudly endorse him for Walla Walla County Sheriff.

Long before this campaign, I saw Richard’s true character through everyday life in our county. He is honest, steady, hardworking, and always quick to help a neighbor. That kind of integrity cannot be manufactured for an election; it is simply who he is.

Richard’s professional experience is extensive. During more than 23 years with the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office, he has served at every level and come to know the office inside and out. He now serves as Chief Deputy, overseeing operations and leading deputies through real crises. The Deputies Association’s endorsement of Richard demonstrates that he has earned the confidence of deputies who know his leadership firsthand.

Just as important, Walla Walla County is not simply where Richard works; it is his home. It is where he has built his life and where he is deeply invested in creating a safer future for our children and grandchildren.

I encourage my fellow Waitsburg residents to join me in voting for Richard Schram for Sheriff.
