WALLA WALLA — The city of Walla Walla will host an Independence Day fireworks display on July 4, 2026, beginning at approximately 10 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at Walla Walla Community College, 500 Tausick Way, Walla Walla.
“These shows are always a highlight of the year for our community,” said Walla Walla City Manager Elizabeth Chamberlain. “We invite everyone to join us to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.”
Pyrotechnics firm Western Display of Canby, Oregon, will produce the show, which is expected to last around 20 minutes.
Parking will be available on the WWCC campus, at the Mill Creek Sportsplex, and where on-street parking is permitted. The parking lot next to the baseball/softball fields will be closed.
The city asks guests to place garbage into identified refuse containers or pack out what they pack in.
The Walla Walla Police Department will assist with traffic after the show, and drivers are asked to follow instructions.
“Folks arrive over a longer time frame, but everyone leaves at once,” Chamberlain said. “Please be patient and enjoy the show.”
