DAYTON — Who’s badder than the Bad Guys? The Bad Girls. In a new chapter of the 2022 action-comedy hit, “The Bad Guys,” the criminal crew of animal outlaws struggles to accept their new lives as the good guys.
The Bad Guys are forced out of retirement for ‘one last job’ by an all-female squad of criminals. Based on the New York Times best-selling book series by Aaron Blabey, “The Bad Guys 2” reunites the film’s all-star cast and filmmakers. The cast includes Sam Rockwell, Craig Robinson, Marc Maron, Alex Borstein, Richard Ayoade, Awkwafina, Anthony Ramos, Zazie Beetz, and Lilly Singh.
“The Bad Guys 2” is well-liked by both critics and the audience on Rotten Tomatoes with strong ratings. The audience, with 94% approval, gave comments including, “Loved the movie, excellent plot, great acting by the voice actors,” and “I really liked the comedy in it.” The Critic’s consensus included comments, “‘The Bad Guys 2’ crew of reformed rapscallions are still a ton of fun as their latest adventure raises the stakes while maintaining a playful sense of mischief,” and gave the film an 88% rating. This film is rated PG for action/mild violence, rude humor, and language, and has a runtime of 104 minutes.
The theater is hosting a Downton Abbey Picnic Tea and Movie event on Sunday, September 14, at 1:30 p.m. at the Liberty Theater Annex, with entrance located in the alley behind the theater. At the tea, guests will enjoy sweet and savory delights, including finger sandwiches and scones with clotted cream. Even Lady Grantham would be pleased.
Tickets are $25 per person and limited to sixty guests for the tea and movie. Your ticket includes the Picnic Tea starting at 1:30 in the Theater Annex and admission to watch “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale” in the theater.
