Isaacson has history of helping others

To the Editor,

Kari Isaacson was the Director of Blue Mountain Community Foundation when I first met her through area projects and Rotary. We became better acquainted in 2015 through political activism. Kari’s whole career focus has been finding the needs in the community and helping to alleviate those needs by raising funds and distributing them. I was so honored when she invited me to help her with her campaign for the 16th LD State Senate. When people ask me to explain the difference between her and the incumbent, it is obvious to state that her focus is others. It takes some research to find the differences between what the incumbent says he supports and his voting record, but it is well worth it. Kari’s life has been spent helping others, not claiming our natural resources for her own benefit, and voting for strong party lines. The future of our area is tied to the national movement of the Republican Party. There is no separation from Donald Trump and the local party. It would be amazing to have Kari working in Olympia to bring attention to our local issues and have resources invested here in the 16th.

Jan Corn,

Chair Committee to Elect Kari Isaacson
