Cardinal Softball wraps up season

Waitsburg High School girls softball players teamed up with the baseball players for an end-of-the-season friendly softball game on Monday, April 29.

Before the start of the game, the school recognized the senior girls and their parents. Seniors Amy Bly, Alyssa Segraves, Kylee Henry, and Bailey Standring played their last high school game.

Coach Joe Greer pitched for both teams, and Principal Joe Wirtzberger was the umpire. David Long from Walla Walla DJ was the emcee for the event and a BBQ was enjoyed after the game by players and fans.
