WAITSBURG - Waitsburg's middle school football team beat St. John-Endicott (SJE) on the Cardinal field on October 12. The boys led 32-16 at halftime, never let up, and won the game 64-44. The team has four wins and one loss in the season.
"The boys did great," said Coach JJ Calzadillas. "They had to adjust to six-man football on the fly."
Uriah York made an outstanding catch over the head of the SJE defender and turned up field to score a touchdown in the first quarter. York finished the game with two reception touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns and returned a kickoff for a touchdown for 31...
