BMPF hosting youth trap shoot May 22

 


WALLA WALLA—Blue Mountain Pheasants Forever will host a youth educational trap shoot, Saturday, May 22nd, at the Walla Walla Gun Club, 1212 Middle Waitsburg Road, Walla Walla. Shooting education will be tailored to a range of skill sets from beginner to experienced.

Guest appearances will include representatives from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, US Fish and Wildlife Service, and the NRA will offer interactive presentations.

Youth age 18 and under are welcome to participate. Being a member of the Blue Mountain Pheasants Forever chapter is not a requirement for participation.

Clay targets and shotgun shells will be provided by Pheasants Forever, although families are encouraged to supply their own shells. Adult family members or mentors must accompany youth.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.; the event starts at 9:00 a.m.
