The event at Caboose Park was an opportunity for voters to meet three candidates who have filed for a local office in the City of Dayton and Columbia County Winemaker Dave Harvey is running for Dayton City Council, position 1, against the incumbent Laura Aukerman. Past owner of "The Waitsburg Times," Ken Graham, is running unopposed for Columbia County Hospital District Commissioner, position 1. Real estate broker and vice-president of the Dayton Chamber Scott Hudson filed for Port Commissioner. He is running unopposed for the seat held by Seth Bryan, who did not file for re-election.
