Since the season has gone off the rails and more trades are likely on the way, I thought it would be a good time to look at some prospects that are close to major league ready in the farm system.
Justin Dunn, an AA pitcher at Arkansas, has a 5-3 record with a 3.46 ERA in 13 starts. He is averaging 11.2 strikeouts per nine innings at double AA while his walks are down to 2.8 per nine innings. Justin was part of last year's trade with the Mets and he could move up the system quickly.
