Arraignments:

-Travis Rogelio Garcia, 31, Dayton; charged with first degree trafficking in stolen property and second degree possession of stolen property. Court reports state that a Walla Walla detective saw a description of a $3,000 Redline CSl cyclecross bicycle, that was stolen from Prentiss Hall on the Whitman Campus, list for sale for $200 on Facebook, by Garcia. An undercover officer attempted to purchase the bicycle and Garcia was arrested. He is held on $20,000 10% security bond. The new charges also resulted in conditions of release being revoked and a previous bond posting forfeited in a prior case where he was charged with unlawful imprisonment – dv, coercion – dv, 4th degree assault – dv, possession of methamphetamine and three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm. The case was continued to Dec. 6 for arraignment on the first case and trial re-set on the second.

-Brittany Nicole Thorne, 18, Dayton; charged with residential burglary, third degree malicious mischief and fourth degree assault. Reports state that officers responded to a call for a burglary in process and found Thorne ransacking a home when they arrived. The homeowner and a witness allegedly identified Thorne who is alleged to have assaulted the homeowner. Thorne reportedly said Brian Page was with her and threw clothing and household items. A deputy located Page nearby and arrested him as well. Thorne entered a plea of not guilty, and a 10% security bond was set at $40,000. Trial setting is scheduled for Nov. 15.

-Brian Loy Page, 66, Dayton; charged with residential burglary and third degree malicious mischief. Page is accused of being involved with the burglary recorded above. Page reportedly told officers that he was not in the house with Thorne. A $20,000 personal recognizance bond was set and the case is continued to Nov. 15.

- Magdiel (Mack) Hernandez De La Cruze, 36, Dayton; charged with possession of stolen property in the second degree. Officers reportedly checked on an individual who was known to be without power, and had stolen power in the past. The officer observed lights on and heard a generator, which he recognized as one that had been stolen from nearby the night before. The individual allegedly said his brother (De La Cruze) had given him the generator and said that it was not stolen. The charges also resulted in bond being revoked in a pending residential burglary case.

Trials Set:

- Hector Vela, Jr., 55, charged with distribution of a controlled substance to a person under 18, delivery/manufacture with intent to deliver marijuana, and possession of over one ounce of usable marijuana. Trial set for Jan. 29-30.

Other:

- Charles W. Hartwell, 41, Dayton. Charged with three charges of second degree assault with a deadly weapon. Mental health/sanity evaluation ordered. Continued to Dec. 20.

-Juan C. Casteneda, 19, Pasco. Charged with one count of first degree burlary – armed with a deadly weapon, four counts of first degree assault and four counts of unlawful imprisonment – armed with a deadly weapon. Continued to Dec. 6 to set a new trial date.

- Blake Charles Wallace, 17, Richland. Charged with one count of first degree burlary – armed with a deadly weapon, four counts of first degree assault and four counts of unlawful imprisonment – armed with a deadly weapon. Continued to Dec. 6 to set a new trial date.

- Joshua Brownell Wilson, 22, Dayton; Charged with assault in the second degree – intention to cause bodily harm, domestic violence and assault in the fourth degree, domestic violence. Continued to Dec. 6 for trial re-set.

- Darrel Jean Salgado, 22, Dayton. Charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia not used for marijuana and with intent to deliver methamphetamine, third degree assault, resisting arrest, use of drug paraphernalia, and three counts of possession of legend (prescription) drugs in a second incident. Continued to Dec. 6.

- Michelle Martinez, 39, Dayton; charged with unlawful imprisonment and fourth degree assault. Continued to Dec. 6 to set new trial.
