Innovia funds $4 million for wildfire response

SPOKANE, Wash. —In response to ongoing wildfires across Spokane County and Eastern Washington, donors, businesses, and organizations — both regionally and nationally — have come alongside community members in an extraordinary outpouring of support, contributing more than $4 million to wildfire response and recovery funds at Innovia Foundation. This remarkable generosity is a testament to the community’s strength to help neighbors.

Beyond the devastating Spokane Complex fires impacting Spokane and Stevens Counties, destructive wildfires have burned thousands of acres, forced evacuations, and threatened life and property across Eastern Washington. Other wildfires include the Kaiser Canyon and Modrite fires impacting Inchelium and other towns in the Colville Reservation and Ferry County; the Hudspeth and Bradeen Hill fires in Stevens County; the Mitre Rock fire, which has burned more than 4,500 acres in Lincoln and Stevens County; the Palouse River and Wells Road fires affecting residents of Whitman County, including Malden. As dangerous wildfire conditions persist, it is the generosity of donors that enables Innovia to mobilize immediate relief and support long-term recovery for those impacted.

Innovia allocates 100% of wildfire funds to support affected individuals and families through vetted nonprofit partners with experience providing direct services to the community.
