DAYTON - The Bulldogs volleyball team took down Tri-Cities Prep, the defending league champions, in a quick three sets at an away game on Sept. 30. "We played tough and we were on top of our game !" said Coach Shannon Turner.

Lexie Ramirez (17/17), Sarah Phillips (12/12), Josilyn Fullerton (5/5) and Taylor Frame (1/1) cranked out perfect play on the serving line, followed closely by Jenna Phillips with 12/13, Madison Mings with 5 for 7. Madison Mings dished out 8 kills and 10 digs and Sarah Phillips and Lexie Ramirez tied for teamhigh assists with 12 each.

"We cut way back on unforced errors and everyone contributed to the win," said Turner. "Things we've been working on throughout the season finally all came together for us. It was a great team effort."
