CHS Country Operations will match local donations. For every dollar or pound of food donated, the Farmers' Co-Op will receive $1 to distribute to local food banks. The top donating business unit will receive double the local match, and second place will receive 1.5 times their local contribution for their communities.

Kathy Potter wants to hear from Co-Op partners with storefronts who would agree to put a food collection barrel at their location. Volunteers will be picking up the donations each night, so they won't accumulate at businesses. Those interested in helping out would also place a sign or poster at their location.
