Breakfast with Santa

Dayton First Congregational Church Fireside Room

8-11 a.m.

Children in the congregation and community are invited to join Santa for free breakfast and crafts. Parents are welcome to bring cameras to capture a photo of their child dining with Santa. Breakfast features pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, milk, juice, and coffee.

Dayton Senior Round Table

Senior Center (403 E. Patit St.)

12 p.m.

Tuesdays and Thursdays. Call 382-2836 to RSVP by the day prior.

Waitsburg Resource Center

106 Preston Avenue

2-4 p.m.

The Center provides food and resources to families in the Waitsburg and Prescott School Districts.

"Make an Impression"

Elementary School Music Room

11:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. and 6-6:30 p.m. and 7:30- 8:30 p.m.

Community members are invited to make their mark on Squire Broel's Founding Fathers monument. The panel will be available during the day from 11:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m. and just prior to and following the 6:30 p.m. elementary school Christmas program in the evening.

Waitsburg Elementary Christmas Program

WHS Auditorium

6:30 p.m.

Following the program, families and friends are invited to enjoy refreshments at the elementary school library. Community members may also visit the elementary school band room before and after the concert to make a mark on the "Founding Fathers" art piece (see above).

Dayton Lighted Home Tours

Elk Drug Parking Lot

7 p.m.

Shuttle tours of decorated homes in the Dayton area are provided by Columbia County Public Transportation. The shuttle departs nightly at 7 p.m. Dec. 13 through Dec. 21. To make reservations and cast your vote for favorite lights call 382-1647. Tours are $1.50 and $1 for seniors (60 and under).

11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Music by Nevada Slim & Cimmaron Sue, book signing with Sandra Torres. Bring salad or dessert to share with neighbors. Collections will be taken for the Waitsburg Resource Center.

Tri-Cities Steel Band Christmas Concert

3-4:30 p.m.

Free admission. Please bring non-perishable food items for a community food drive.

Waitsburg School Bands Christmas Concert

7 p.m.

The 5th grade, 6th grade, Preston Hall and WHS bands will all perform. This year's concert theme is "Frozen!" Perishable food donations will be taken at the door and cookies and hot chocolate will be served following the concert.

Baby & Toddler storytime at 10 a.m. and Preschool storytime at 10:45. Storytime is free to the public and no library card is needed.

Story Time (every Tuesday)

Prescott Library

10:30 a.m.

Crafts and stories geared to preschool children, but all ages are welcome.

Waitsburg Senior Round Table

Waitsburg Presbyterian Church

11:30 a.m.

Join local seniors every Tuesday for lunch. $4 suggested donation for those over 60. $7 charge for guests under 60. Meals on Wheels are available. Call 337-8541 for more info.

Skip Winchester will share his experience playing Santa Claus in New York.
