PRESCOTT - In the article in last week’s Times about the Prescott and Waitsburg pools, some of the information regarding the Prescott Pool was outdated and incorrect. Daily gate fee is $4 for kids 6-17 and $5 for adults. Children under 5 are free. Season passes are $60 for individuals and $130 for family/grandparent passes. Swim lessons are one-half hour, not one hour Evening aerobics are from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We apologize for the errors....

DAYTON – The Sherwood Trust of Walla Walla announced that it has awarded a $65,000 grant to the Dayton Development Task Force. The funds will be used for development of a park in the area near the caboose and playground west of the Dayton Historic Depot. Plans for Caboose Park include lawn, trees and landscaping, as well as installation of additional playground equipment. Depending on funding availability, a splash pad may be added as well.
