DAYTON - With summer heat in full swing, fire risk is increased. City of Dayton Code Compliance Officer Clint Atteberry says he wants to stress to all city residents that tall grass and weeds are a major source of fire fuel, whether they look to be dry or not. Trimming grasses and weeds to a height of less than 12 inches does not eliminate fire hazards, but it will reduce them. DAYTON – Prospective athletes and parents from Dayton and Waitsburg middle schools are invited to attend a DW Combine information meeting for fall middle school sports on Aug. 8. PRESCOTT - In the article in last week’s Times about the Prescott and Waitsburg pools, some of the information regarding the Prescott Pool was outdated and incorrect. Daily gate fee is $4 for kids 6-17 and $5 for adults. Children under 5 are free. Season passes are $60 for individuals and $130 for family/grandparent passes.
