POMEROY—The Pomeroy Ranger District and Asotin County Sportsmen will sponsor two free kid’s fishing days in June. The events, open to kids age 14 and under, include free hotdog and pop for all registered kids, a raffle drawing, and prizes for the largest and smallest fish caught.

A fish cleaning station will be on site and extra fishing poles and reels will be available for kids who don’t have their own.

Kid’s Free Fishing Days will take place on Sat., June 8 at West Evans Pond (on Highway 12, out of Clarkston) and Sun., June 9 at the “new” Rainbow Lake (Tucannon River) from 8 a.m. – noon.
