Why I support Schram for Sheriff

When you love someone who wears a badge, you understand that their job becomes part of your family. You see the long hours, sacrifices, difficult calls, and the weight that comes home at the end of a shift. That is why Richard Schram’s leadership means somuch to me.

As the wife of a deputy who serves under Richard, I have had the privilege of seeing the kind of leader he is when noone is watching. I have seen that he genuinely cares—not only about our community, but about the people who serve it.

Richard holds people accountable and is not afraid to have difficult conversations. But he also knows how to build people back up. He challenges those around him because he wants them to grow, succeed, and become better at what they do.

His more than two decades of service to Walla Walla County have given him valuable experience, but what stands out most to me is how he treats people.

As a wife, community member, and someone who deeply values those who protect and serve Walla Walla County, I am proud to support Richard Schram for Sheriff.
