Patrol Sergeant endorses Schram for Sheriff

To the Editor:

I am proud to fully endorse and support Richard Schram as sheriff for the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office.

As a sergeant with the Sheriff’s Office, I have the opportunity to see Richard’s dedication to Walla Walla County firsthand. He repeatedly demonstrates his priority on the community and the deputies. He leads by example with service, putting others before himself.

Richard has the experience needed to be sheriff. He progressed from deputy to sergeant to chief deputy under two sheriffs. Richard is Co-SWAT Commander of our regional SWAT team, oversees our training programs, and partners with many other county officials to complete vital projects.

Richard demonstrates our core values of honor, integrity, loyalty, courage, commitment, duty, and fairness every day. He is a driver for the current professionalism and positive culture at the Sheriff’s Office.

I am proud to work with the citizens of Walla Walla County alongside Richard at the Sheriff’s Office. Richard has the experience, knowledge, compassion, and dedication that will continue to place Walla Walla County among the best in the state.
