At the Liberty:Disclosure Day

June 26-30

“Disclosure Day” is Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi thriller about the lead-up to a worldwide revelation that humanity is not alone. The film follows a TV meteorologist and a whistleblower whose actions could expose proof of extraterrestrial life, sparking global consequences. Teased as a blend of mystery, tension, and Spielberg’s signature wonder, it’s set to deliver spectacle, big ideas, and emotional impact, making it one of 2026’s most anticipated releases.

The cast includes Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Colman Domingo. It is rated PG-13 for action/violence, some blood images and strong language and has a runtime of 145 minutes.

The Rotten Tomatoes critic’s rating is 80% with one saying, “Using the style of filmmaking that made supernatural thrillers of the 1990s so amazing. Spielberg has once again delivered a piece of cinematic magic. ‘Disclosure Day’ is a blueprint of how to bring suspense to the big screen.” While an audience member said, “this movie is out there but it’s amazing. It’s a combination of ‘The Matrix,’ ‘Snowden,’ and ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind.’” The theater invites you to come be the judge with showings over two weekends.

Alex Zerbe, “The Zaniac,” will be on performing Thursday July 2, at 1:30 p.m. at The Liberty Theater. Admission is free. Zerbe, the Professional Zaniac, moves like a rubber band from one end of the stage to the other. He combines comedic absurdity with a host of odd skills, making him one of Seattle’s funniest prop comics.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre is returning with its 2026 program the week of August 3-8. The visiting directors will work with kids from 1st grade through 12th, participation is free.
