WAITSBURG — Luke Chavez, co-founder of Ten Ton Coffee and writer for “The Times,” has graduated with distinction from Western Washington University in Bellingham. He earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and graduated on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
“The Times” is hosting a celebration for Luke at the Royal Block in Waitsburg on Thursday, June 18, after 5 p.m. Come toast the graduate with sparkling wine and encourage Luke to read a few poetry selections from his thesis.
