February 10, 2026 Special Election

WALLA WALLA — The February 10, 2026 Special Election will decide a levy for Walla Walla County emergency medical care and services, replacement and supplemental levies for school districts including Dixie, College Place, Prescott, Waitsburg, and the dissolution of several fire districts.

The county will mail ballots to registered voters by Friday, January 23. Military and overseas ballots were mailed on January 9, 2026.

All ballot testing, processing, tabulation, and canvassing meetings take place at the elections office at 315 W. Main St, Walla Walla. Accessible voting is also available at this location.

Observers are welcome during ballot preparation, testing, processing, tabulation, and canvassing board meetings. The office will currently allow only one authorized observer from each party at a time. Ballot processing will also be livestreamed on the Walla Walla County Auditor’s website.

Accessible voting will be available at the elections office using ExpressVote to assist voters in marking their ballots.

Logic and accuracy testing on the optical scanning system used to tabulate the ballots, will be conducted by the auditor’s office on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. The test will be held at the elections office at 315 W. Main St. in Walla Walla, and is open for public viewing.

The auditor’s office will begin processing ballots on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, and continue weekdays through Friday, February 20, 2026, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Preliminary election results will not be released until after polls close at 8 p.m. on election day.

The canvassing board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 9 a.m.

The special election will be certified by Walla Walla County at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026.
