Innovia Foundation opens 2026 Community Grants round

SPOKANE — Innovia Foundation’s annual Community Grants Program is currently accepting applications from nonprofit organizations serving Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Each year, this program awards more than $1 million to support a wide range of impact areas, including arts and culture, economic opportunity, education and youth development, health and wellbeing, and quality of life.

This year’s funding theme, “Building Stability and Belonging,” emphasizes support for programs that increase access to basic needs, including food, housing, healthcare, childcare, and education. Programs that build community and create inclusive spaces will also be proritized.

“Innovia’s 2026 Community Grants are about meeting neighbors where they are today while investing in the connections that will sustain our region tomorrow,” says Shelly O’Quinn, CEO of Innovia Foundation. “By prioritizing both access to basic needs and programs that bring people together, we aim to reduce hardship, strengthen relationships, and ensure every person in our region feels supported and connected.”

Organizations that apply by the early-bird deadline of January 9, 2026, will be automatically entered into a drawing to receive a $1,000 grant for general operating support. The final application deadline is February 6, 2026.
