Traffic info for Waitsburg hometime xmas Parade

WAITSBURG — Hometown Christmas organizers would like to remind drivers that traffic and parking will be temporarily impacted on Sunday, December 7, during the 40th Annual Hometown Christmas Parade.

The parade begins at 5 p.m. at Main and First Streets. The route goes down Main, turns right onto W. Sixth, right onto Orchard St., right onto Fourth St., and left onto Main, back to the start.

To ensure everyone can enjoy the parade, organizers ask motorists not to park on Main Street between First and Third Streets between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday.

During the parade, volunteers will monitor barricades lining the route. East and westbound traffic on Highway 124 will be diverted to the alternate route via W. Seventh Street.
