Fiesta En Jalisco

After 12 years of delicious service in Dayton, the owners of Fiesta En Jalisco are closing the restaurant on October 25, 2025. They expressed appreciation to the community where their kids were students at Dayton schools, participated in 4H, the county fair, and sports.

"It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to this wonderful community. You will always be in our hearts, and we will always be so grateful for the years that you supported us," the family posted on Facebook.

Hotel Hardware

Hotel Hardware and The Cocktail Shop are hiring cocktail barbacks, a wine server, a housekeeper, and a barista to work at the boutique hotel with a coffee bar, cocktail lounge, and wine bottle shop.

Applicants should be customer service-oriented and take pride in themselves and their work. Willingness to learn new skills/knowledge is a plus.

Barback: Wednesday-Saturday 5 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. (no experience necessary)

Wine server: Sunday-Tuesday 5 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. (knowledge of natural wine is a plus)

Housekeeper: Daily 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (experience preferred)

Barista: Daily 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (experience preferred but will train the right candidate)

"Cross-training opportunities for staff with an aptitude to grow their knowledge base about hotel management, specialty coffee, craft cocktails, and natural wine. We are building something special in Dayton," said HH owner Padraic Slattery.

New hours are Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit sisters Kim Bruzas and Lori Davis to find Halloween and seasonal gifts from among their ecclerctic finds.

Wolfling Coffee

Activity at Waitsburg's newest coffee shop, Wolfling Coffee, is ramping up as the opening date is nearing. Electrician, plumbing, flooring, and contractor trucks have been lined up in front finishing the total remodel of the space.
