The Cardinal volleyball hard working hard and improving

At Prescott on Monday, September 15, the Waitsburg High School volleyball team lost 25-11, 25-18, and 25-12.

“We played much better tonight against them than the first time,” said Coach Jamie Smit. Sophia Castillo and Joslin Nodine both served 12 for 12.

Against St. John, the Cardinals lost 25-23, 25-11 and 25-17. Garfield-Palouse won the match with Waitsburg, 25-6, 25-5 and 25-12.

“The girls continue to work hard and get better every match. I am very proud of them for sticking with it and growing as a team,” said Coach Smit.
