PROJECT Trio on June 23
DAYTON - The new "Lilo & Stitch" is a live-action reimagining of Disney's 2002 animated classic, telling the touching story of a lonely Hawaiian girl who befriends a runaway alien, helping to mend her fragmented family. The cast includes Christopher Sanders, Maia Kealoha, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Courtney B. Vance, Zach Galifianakis, and Sydney Elizabeth Agudong.
"Lilo & Stitch" was the #1 movie for three consecutive weeks. The critics on RottenTomatoes.com said, "Lilo & Stitch" recaptured the adorable charm of the original, if not quite matching its rambunctious sense of imagination; it emerges out of the crate as one of the better live-action remakes of a Disney classic. The audience gave this movie a 93% rating. One audience member wrote, "I enjoyed it, and it brought back wonderful memories!" Rated PG for action, peril, and thematic elements, and its runtime is 108 minutes.
