Waitsburg Prom

WAITSBURG - Waitsburg High School students enjoyed dress-up days the week before the 2025 Prom on May 3.

The Prom Court, which their fellow students voted on, included freshmen Aubrey King and Bryer Paul, sophomores Pilar Diaz-Easton and Rollin Carpenter, juniors Matti Carter and Victor Whitmore, and seniors Mylie Jones, Cedar Stegall, Cougar Anderson, and Lucas VanHoose.

Lucas VanHoose and Cedar Stegall were crowned King and Queen.

This year's prom theme was Vegas Nights. The school held the event at the high school, with music by Moments Remembered DJ Events/Service from Walla Walla.

The dance was well attended, and everyone had a great time," said Junior Class Advisor Deanna Coulston. "There was great music and lots of food."

"The DJ, Ron Blush, commented that he wants to attend every Waitsburg event because of how amazing our students are," said Coulston.

Ron Blush from Moments Remembered DJ Events/Service said on their Facebook page, "I was deeply grateful to provide the soundtrack for Waitsburg's High School Prom Dance, where the atmosphere was vibrant and the joy was infectious."
