Foodstock at BMS will offer summer fun, activities, food, drink, and music. Last year there was the giant water slide and music by Boe Stevenson and others.

DAYTON-Blue Mountain Station is hosting Foodstock 2023 on Saturday, July 15, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This year's event features a variety of internationally influenced foods, including Mexican, Italian, American, and Asian-sample different tastes from food trucks and Blue Mountain Station vendors.

There will also be a selection of wines, cider, and premium liqueurs to enjoy on the day and to take home for later.

Talented musicians will provide entertainment throughout the day. Other activities include bead stringing, making tie-dye shirts, yard games, and shopping from various arts and crafts vendors.

The idea for Foodstock came from Regina Weldert, owner of Reys Roast, who suggested holding an event on the 45th anniversary of the iconic music festival Woodstock. The other BMS vendors were excited to pair food and music, which became an annual event. Since its start in 2014, the event has moved to the third Saturday of July to coincide with Dayton's Alumni Weekend.

This is a family-friendly event that is free to the public.
