DW COMBINE-Wolfpack Softball Ends Season with District Losses
The DW softball team won their playoff game against Goldendale in Dayton on Wednesday, May 17, in a three-inning rout, 16-1.
Peyton Struckmeier and Lila Hutchens led the team with two hits each. Maddi Gallardo, Hendrix Groom, Kameryn Tupling, and Teagan Culley each had one hit.
The team traveled to Pasco on Friday, May 19, for district games. The Wolfpack fell to Kittitas/Throp 17-1 and finished their season with a 12-2 loss to Cle Elum/Rosyln.
In the Kittitas game, the team committed eight fielding errors. The team was led by Struckmeier, who had two hits.
The Wolfpack cut down on the fielding errors in the Cle Elum game and had seven hits. Alyssa Segraves led the team with two hits.
