Kimi Bruzas to exhibit at WAG

WAITSBURG-Waitsburg artist Kimi Bruzas will exhibit her work at Waitsburg Art Garden (WAG) on Saturday, May 13, from noon to 5 p.m. The show of her intricate collages is a perfect way to celebrate World Collage Day.

Her medium is the artist's collection of vintage and contemporary illustration, photography, and advertising. Her style is recognizable from a block away, but the fun is in the details, and viewers need to get up close to enjoy the humor hidden in the images.

She and her sister, Lori Sharp, are owners of Gaudy Gals on Main. The sisters have merged their styles to make the shop a colorful 3D collage of retail. Bruzas has collages, prints, and cards available at the shop. This last year, the artist has contributed her posters for many of Waitsburg's community and business events.
