Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

Spaghetti, dessert, and royalty

WAITSURG-About 120 people came to Waitsburg's Town hall making the Waitsburg Celebration Days spaghetti feed fundraiser a success. Lanny Adams was the emcee for the April 15 event, including a spaghetti dinner, silent auction, and lively dessert auction. Mark Holtz provided live music.

The spaghetti dinner, silent auction, and live auction for desserts raised money to support the Waitsburg Celebration Days Queen.

Queen Hannah Peralez and her advisor Cheyenne Reed thanked Table Rock Meat Company for donating seventy-five pounds of ground beef and Dayton Mercantile for the garlic bread, spaghetti sauce, and pencils used for the silent auction.

The Pioneer Posse Court, the Benton-Franklin Fair and Rodeo Queen, and Dayton Fair Hostesses joined in the evening's festivities. Queen Hannah thanked them for their support and help with the live dessert auction.

Funds from the event go towards the costs, including travel, for Peralez as she represents Waitsburg Celebration Days as Queen. Celebration Days is coming to town May 19 through 21.
