WAITSBURG-Between 25 to 35 future basketball players have been practicing dribbling, passing, and shooting skills in the Waitsburg gym on Thursdays. Organizers Katelyn Stahl and Chelsie Abel started the practices for Pre-K to second-grade boys and girls on January 19.
Children from Waitsburg, Prescott, and Dayton participate in warm-up exercises before breaking into age-appropriate groups to practice skills.
