WALLA WALLA-The Foundry Vineyards announced its first juried art show, which will open in February 2023. The deadline for artists to submit images to be considered is January 2, 2023.

With the winery's 20th Anniversary approaching in 2023, the Foundry said on its website, "we are reflecting on our history, our future, and recognizing how grateful we are to our supportive local community. It would be our honor and pleasure to share the gallery space with artists in the Walla Walla area and share their stories with the Foundry's visitors."

A wide range of media will be accepted, including drawing, painting, video, sculpture, digital, and intermedia. Artists may submit up to three images for consideration by the jury. The works must be for sale and priced to sell, between $150 and $2,000.

Applications need to be sent electronically, and no physical pieces will be accepted for jurying.

Artists must be 18 years old or older and live within 60 miles of Walla Walla, Wash. The work must be original and completed within the last five years.

This will be a chance for local artists to exhibit at the contemporary art gallery that has exhibited work by Jim Dine, Rob Pruitt, Deborah Butterfield, KiKi Smith, and Chuck Close.
