WWGH Receives Emergency Care Award

WALLA WALLA – Adventist Health/Walla Walla General Hospital has been named a Women’s Choice Award recipient as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Emergency Care for the second consecutive year.

The credential places WWGH in the top five percent, out of 3,800 emergency rooms that report the data to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, in the nation for emergency care. Award recipients are scored on eight measures that rate primarily to the amount of time taken in the emergency room.

The Women’s Choice Award identifies the nation’s best health care organizations by measuring against the needs and preferences of women, when it comes to treatment and a quality hospital experience.

“At WWGH, we provide a no-wait emergency and chest pain center that individuals and families in our community can rely on when minutes matter most,” said Linda Givens, WWGH Interim, Vice President of Patient Care, in a press release.
