DAYTON – The Dayton Historical Depot is sponsoring three free screenings of Hugo during Dayton’s Christmas Kickoff on Fri. Nov. 27. Showing will be held at 1 p.m., 3:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.

Hugo, the story of a young boy who lives alone in a Paris train station, is an ode to creativity and invention and will be enjoyed by the entire family. Hugo and his friend Isabelle work to uncover the secret that resides in a mechanical man, an automaton that is Hugo’s one remaining connection to his father. In unraveling the mystery, the two young people find the affinity that drew them together is based on a much deeper connection, one involving Isabelle’s godfather.

The 3:30 showing will end in time for the lighted parade and the 7L30 p.m. showing will follow Dayton’s lighted parade and fireworks.
