Waitsburg

Sept. 23

Vehicle collision on 400 block of Coppei Ave. Vehicle stopped at crosswalk and was rear-ended by another vehicle. Suspicious circumstances reported on 200 block of Dewitt Road. Unknown subjects entering an unoccupied residence. Complainant requested extra patrol.

Dayton

Sept. 20

Report of verbal domestic dispute on 500 block of E. Tremont. Parties agreed to separate for the night. Suspicious activity on 1400 block of S. 4th; report of male yelling for over an hour. Deputies located subject in garage, singing to loud music and watching the game; agreed to keep it down. Report of theft of items from General Store. Report of assault in IGA parking lot. Deputies contacted parties involved and cleared with a report. Report of continuous fraud calls from a California number. Suspicious activity reported on N. Touchet Road; mini van parked at the end of caller’s driveway for over an hour and a half. Deputy contacted occupant who was using their cell phone.

Sept. 21

Deputies arrested Jarod Mings, 32, Starbuck on a Dept. of Corrections warrant. Report of yelling in area of 514 E. Tremont. Deputy contacted party who stated they had been arguing with a city employee. Report of verbal altercation between mother and son on 1100 block of S. 4th; settled by contact. Report of hunter trespassing on cabin property on Jasper Mountain; call transferred to wildlife officer.

Sept. 22

Report of juveniles on skateboards yelling, screaming, and riding in the street on W. Main. No description given; deputies unable to locate. Report of theft of cash from a transportation bus in the 500 block of Cameron St.

Sept. 23

Report of fraudulent phone call on 600 block of Harlem Road. Out of state caller reported fraud call they say originated in Columbia County. Report of fraud on 600 block of E. Clay. Non-injury collision; Clarkston driver struck a deer.

Sept. 24

Report of theft of prescription medication nine days prior at Valley View Court.

Sept. 25

Two-vehicle, non-injury collision on 400 block of W. Main. Caller reported dispute between tenants on 100 block of W. Richmond Ave. Deputy found no disturbance in process but served protection order paperwork and escorted subject from property. Deputy contacted male with a fire at 400 block of E. Dayton Ave.; male was advised of burn ban and voluntarily put fire out.

Sept. 26

Deputies arrested Steven Long, 28, Dayton on warrants. Deputies also arrested a juvenile female on warrants and transferred her to JJC. Vehicle vs. deer non-injury accident at MP 362. Vehicle was towed from the scene.
