WAITSBURG – A free showing of the movie Uncommon Friends: Life with Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone, Alexis Carrel, and Charles Lindbergh will be held at 3 p.m. on Sun., Sept. 20 at the Plaza Theater on Waitsburg’s Main Street.

The documentary, based on a book by James Newton, recalls a lifetime of friendship with five pioneers of the twentieth century. The film, which was broadcast on public television in 2000, is narrated by Walter Cronkite.
