The Times - Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

WAITSBURG – Waitsburg High School senior Hannah Grant, along with DeSales senior Hannah Leahy, received Exchange Club of Walla Walla Youth of the Year Awards for the 2014-15 school year. The recipients received a commemorative plaque and a $1,000 scholarship.

Hannah Grant holds a 4.0 GPA, was treasurer of NHS in 2013-14 and is president of Leo’s Service Club. She is active in FFA, student government and Knowledge Bowl, has been a scholar-athlete throughout and was 2014 Prom Queen. She plans to study bioengineering at Washington State University and one day attend veterinary school. She is the daughter of Mark and Miriam Grant of Prescott.
