Vida L. Petersen, 100, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Dayton General Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born December 23, 1914, in Wirth, Arkansas, to Ray Ellis and Elizabeth Cunningham (Hill).
Vida married Thomas H. Petersen on March 28, 1940, in Yuma, Arizona. Vida and Tommy traveled the world together, visiting France, Spain, Switzerland, Malaga, and more, enjoying their favorite hobby of playing the best golf courses in the world.
In 1974, Vida and Tommy moved to Dayton, WA. Vida worked for Green Giant until she retired and then continued to do seas...
