Christmas Special Edition

December 18, 2014

Dear Santa, How are the elves doing? For Christmas I want a new dart gun. It has fake darts, and I only have one good one. And I want a new Transformer. Love, Tegan Largent

The Times presents our 2014 Christmas Special Edition, a longstanding Times tradition. As we do each year, we offer up the poems, stories and letters to Santa from students at Waitsburg Elementary School. A hearty thanks goes out to the Waitsburg staff and students for their help in making this issue possible.

Dear Santa, How is the reindeers doing? How are you doing? I dreamed last night about Santa, and you were nice. For Christmas I want a tool set. My little brother has one, too. And probably some wrestlers. Santa heard me say, and he sent a letter to my dad, that I want a beanbag that you sit in. See you soon, Beau Hazelbaker

This special edition would also not be possible without the support of the many local businesses whose advertising helps make these pages possible. Please consider these companies, large and small, and remember to patronize them in 2014.

The staff at The Times invites you now to share the joy of Christmas as seen through the eyes of local children, in their own words. We wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.
