Dayton Boys Struggle in Early Games

DAYTON - The Dayton boys' basketball team dropped three games last week, as their season got off to a tough start.

On Dec. 6 at home, the Bulldogs lost to Garfield Palouse, 59-19.

The 'Dogs traveled to St. John to play St. John-Endicott Friday night, and lost a close game, 45-36. Ian Smay had ten points and Andrew Mendoza added six, to lead Dayton's Scoring.

On Saturday, the Bulldogs struggled against Liberty High in Spangle, losing 69- 19. Zach Waggoner led Bulldog Scorers with five points.

The 'Dogs were to continue their season at home against Pomeroy Tuesday night, and then host Walla Walla Valley Academy on Thursday, in their league opener.
